An Ice Day Out

The first snowfall of the year 2012, and of this Winter season was accompanied by this skateboard session.

Unpredictable weather calls for unpredictable skateboarding. Originally planning to go fast on dry runs down dead salty mountains, the session was unexpectedly bound to an endless sloped parking lot littered with mounds of slush from fresh sheets of snow that kept falling. Skaters gathered at the usual spot, still with intentions to skate.

FBGM CAMPUS MASSACRE!!!

Get ready for a whole day of skateboarding!

Meet at 1oam in the RICE ECCLE STADIUM parking lot.

Entry fee is 5 dollars.

Skate all day.

This is a team skate event, racers will have a partner, so no bitching what so ever.

After teams are randomly determined, qualifying runs will begin.

The point of this portion of the race is to execute as many listed skateboard maneuvers in context with the campus downhill runs within the given amount of time.

Each successful trick landed will earn the team a number of points.

Points will be tallied up at the end of qualifying session to determine race the heat brackets.

At 12:30 racers will take Trax to the Fort Douglas station and continue with the downhill racing portion of the event.

The team system will still be in affect during the downhill racing!

Hella prizes at the end.

Don't complain about the cold either.
